ryobi should of been on this list matter of fact they need to be on number top 3 or 2 because ryobi has been doing so great last year of 2022 they been officially announced a pro brand
Flex is best for a year But Milwaukee lasts years and years of abuse
I was sitting here typing "Wow wheres hitachi"……. they switched the name…. a while ago lmao i didnt even realise they did it near when covid startedš maybe to switch off a chinese nane
I have milwaukee at work… makita at home…. I like the makita more
How about an update vid?
Team red all day
My Rank for these brands will be as follows:
1. Hilti – Reason being their Tool Park Management Service saves you a fortune of money on your multiple jobsites & also the one platform Nuron helps you optimize your tool park. Productivity, Performance, Health & Safety along with Sustainability offered.
2. Flex – The soul reason being their performance & nothing else. They still fall short of providing service as compared to competition.
3. Milwaukee – Reason being they fail to achieve one platform for all their tools hence increasing the number of tools per jobsite. But still better than a lot of competition.
4. DeWalt – Reason being the compact sizes of their tools make them earn alot of brownie points but still they have to go a long way in improving the performance of their tools below 24V platform.
5. Makita- Reason being they don’t release the most latest technologies, they wait for it to become a global need & then they launch the tool.
I’m a professional Timberframer and tool addict largely using Makita, Dewalt, Hilti and Milwaukee.
I agree that some brands do specific tools better than others. I prefer fit and finish and have to say Makita does power planers beautifully. The only manufacturer I know that makes the monster 12" beam planer and curved shoe. Makitas fit and finish on their xgt 3"1/4 planer is far better than anything I’ve used. Feels smooth and tight. Makes Dewalts 3 1/4 feel like a fisherprice toy. That being said, Dewalt’s flexvolt battery line can outperform in power and I have mostly flexvolt. Although, I’m leaning towards Makita for how smooth and precise their tools feel.
Milwaukee’s cordless impacts are unbeatable imo.
Hilti all the way for rockchippers. Anyhoo, just my two cents
Man I have to buy Ryobi cause Iām always losing my tools
at the start and for the end of time : Makita > all
Flex over Hilti and Milwaukeeš
Makita all day
Bosch and Makita all the way for me. I like how they space their releases out further, and only really release a new tool when there are sizeable improvements over last gen. Many of the others brands are reminding me of major tech companies instead of tool companies with their constant releases with little improvement over last gen. Dont get me wrong they still make good stuff, just not a fan of the buisiness model.
Since I dont use those huge tools from Milwaukee. So dont need Double Batteries. Why, before that did you like Milwaukee better than DeWalt? You never said why it was in the Number 2 spot in the first place?
2 years late, but FLEX?
Milwaukee hands down
My Milwaukee I built my entire home with, dropped from roof, left in rain, couldn’t stop it.. Milwaukee is my favorite, I used to be DeWalt, no more
I went with Ryobi for years because that was what I could afford. Now that I make good money and am debt free I am replacing my Ryobi with better stuff.
Started with Dewalt, but have become a Flex guy 100%. The recip saw is no joke. The circular saw is smooth, powerful, and accurate. I now have the entire line. I can’t wait for their next platform.
Hoping for a wet saw, miter saw, table saw, or yard platfrom.
I could really use an m18 pencil sharpener but as of now, no dice
flex who?
very true at keeping milwakee honest
I have always been a milwaukee guy. Their corded tools simply ran forever and the M18 platform has served me very well. At least until the last two tools I purchased. I purchased a new impact driver and a drill. Both have so much runout that they are basically unusable. I think Milwaukee has put cost and profits over quality and for the first time, I’m probably going to switch platforms.
makita personally
1 Bosch
2 Makita
3 DeWalt
Because I used them
wheres bosch
1st place doesn’t make sense since this flex platform only exists in usa and here we talk about brands which are available world wide. Based on units sold worldwide and the availability of the brands the top 5-6 in no particular order is Makita DeWalt Milwaukee Bosh Metabo Hikoki (MetaboHPT) followed by Hilti Festool which are usually considered premium choices for concrete (hilti) and wood working (festool) like metabo used to be in metal working and they still have some premium tools for metal working. Also these days at least in Europe i don’t know about USA is another german brand which makes premium wood tools Mafell and they are on the same battery platform like Metabo they are part of CAS (Cordless Alliance System) and they use basically metabo LiHD batteries. Bosch also has launched AMP Share which is a new battery alliance which is based on bosh pro core batteries one popular brand joining is Fein
You put dewalt on the list… im outš
I have a general rule: Bosch is #1 and on a bad day #2 or #3. For Similar money Makita, Dewalt, Milwaukee. There are other good picks but they have a limited line or are of a higher price point. Bosch is never a bad choice and always one of the best, no matter what.
Mine is ryobi Makita Flex minnwalkee dewalt
Milwaukee, you might find better but you’ll never pay more….LOL
Iāll be honest I thought Lex was the better brand but my Milwaukee hammer drill performs so much better than my flex hammer drill and my Milwaukee hammer drill is a GEN two
I just wanted to see how you rank Bosch
imo: ( tools that ive used )
1. Milwaukee
2. Makita
3. Dewalt
My company provides a Hilton tool kit with a bandsaw, hammer drill, impact drill, and sawzaw. The only complaint I have is with the band saw blades. They are not that good and I havenāt been able to find other brand of blade that will fit on the band saw, the only blades that will fit are the hilti ones
I really like my Metabo HPT. Own others but overall to me like the most.
Love this channel!
4 and 5 are ass backwards. We used Mikita at work and some of those tools get dropped sometimes and they work day in and day out
Bait and switch – title: tool brands ranked, when #2 hits all of a sudden itās ātop brands to research moreā <- who wants that video?
Like you
1 Milwaukee
2 DeWalt
3 Makita
So is Milwaukee number 2 or number 3, because you said it was in the number 2 spot but during the explanation you kept saying it fell to number 3?
Flex is a American company ???
DeWalt tools extremely good quality,Iam used daily for construction like cutter, grinder
Weāre taking advice from a guy using a dell laptop..
haha "Flex"… ok buddy………..
But whatever tools and just use battery adapters lol
Itās 2024 and Iām Flex all the way! Iāve the driver, the hammer drill, the oscillating tool and my latest purchase the router and plunge adapter- love them all! Batteries charge quickly and retain the charge forever! Canāt see myself changing platforms anytime soon.
I bought flex tools not even a year ago didnāt last two months there dog shit .! Milwaukee or makita hands down most durable and most powerful tools on the market
Hilti is #1, no questions…
Hey Vance, no love for Ridgid tools? LMAO!
